A new family and two identities

After Rikuto's father Naoma remarried Ayumu's mother, Yoshiko, Rikuto and Ayumu became step-siblings and temporarily lived together. Ayumu hides his gender from Rikuto at home and lives as a younger brother, while attending Asaoka Academy as a girl. This ongoing dual identity not only brings school misunderstandings but also marks the beginning of the story between the two and the trust and guilt they feel when facing their new family.

A group of students from Asaoka Academy

Besides Ayumu, the story also revolves around three girls in the same class as Rikuto. Nanase Furi is cheerful and has known Rikuto for many years, and she knows Ayumu's disguise at home; Mao Momori lives as a boy and learns swordsmanship as her grandfather asks; Nozomi Haida is a class representative who works hard to change her introverted personality and briefly shared the class with Rikuto. Each of them carries their own challenges and finds it hard to openly engage in romance.
