Life in the Kawahara family
Yuu lost both parents at a young age and was taken in by her older cousin Kawahara Mizuha, growing up like siblings with her sister Fuka. Ruiye works at the school, but mainly relies on Yuu for daily chores. At the beginning of the story, Fuka finally ends two years of hospitalization and returns to her familiar home and school.
Visiting flowers and memories
Fuka, cheerful and friendly, calls Yuu "Yuu-kun." She has a memory disorder called "reset," and she writes her experiences into notes to help her regain control over forgotten things. Her return is not just about reuniting with family, but also brings Youyu back to unresolved issues from the past.
Childhood friends returning from overseas
Nanami Nanami, a year below Yuu, returned from the United States and moved near his home. She calls herself Youyu's childhood friend and affectionately calls him brother; But Yu couldn't immediately recall this relationship. Nanami is usually clingy and shows strong competitiveness toward other women who are close to Yuu.
Class and Broadcasting Club
Mana Sakurai has been Yuu's classmate since middle school, excelling academically and serving as class president; Youyu was then promoted to vice class monitor. Yuuki Nako's parents have passed away, and she relies on scholarships and work at the glass workshop to support her livelihood. She is also a member of the broadcasting club. She had only recently met Youyu, yet there were some signs that seemed to have long been familiar with him. Miki Kirihara is Nako's classmate and partner, and a partner in the broadcasting club.
Teachers and families
Ruiha teaches at Izumi City Academy and is popular with students at work, but after returning home, she often gives Yuha headaches. Kazune Tachihara is a chemistry teacher and also the homeroom teacher for Yuu, Fuka, and Mana; She lacks the authority of a teacher, and students often call her "Ichion-chan." The roles of teachers and students on campus and family relatives intertwine in everyday comedy.
