Identity in Kanon
Her true form is a little fox saved by Yuichi seven years ago. Before Yuichi left, she put it back on the hill. To meet him again and become a girl, it paid the price of gradual decline in memory and life.
A prank and cat-raising in the 2006 TV anime
In episode 7, she sneaks into Yuichi's room at night, intending to take revenge with a prank, but is caught by him again; On her first day working, Qiuzi recommended a special jam to her. In episode 8, following Mai's hints, Yuichi finds her sleeping with a cat at Monomigaoka and brings her home. After Akiko allowed her to keep a cat, she and Yuichi came up with a name for the cat.
