Action and inner self are chosen separately
The game divides options into action and mental thinking. The former changes others' affection for Hachiman, while the latter affects the value called Useless Degree; The location of movement also changes encounters and events. Values that are too high or too low can lead to bad outcomes, so you can't advance the relationship solely by catering to the other person or insisting on isolation.
A private conversation between the two
Silence Break mode lets players choose conversation content from three topic cards, with silence always retained. When the response is appropriate, the four-leaf clover in the painting changes color one by one, and the relationships between characters may grow even closer. These sessions feature Live2D expressions and movements, with some scenes featuring extra intimate performances.
Another presentation of the original text
The visualization mode includes Hachiman's book reflections, reports, emails, and character dialogues into the game, and new combinations appear as you progress. Shizuka Hiratsuka and Komachi Hikigaya were responsible for teaching explanations. The original PS Vita version was released on September 19, 2013, and was later included alongside the sequel in collections on other platforms.
Summer volunteer activities
Hachimanhara spent the summer vacation without people, playing, or working, but was caught up in volunteer activities like pools, barbecues, courage tests, and fireworks festivals.
The main characters' conversation positions
Hachiman is skilled at observing his surroundings, but chooses to keep himself apart from the crowd, sometimes willing to bear his own infamy to maintain the situation. Yukino appears calm on the surface, while Yui expresses her feelings directly and brightly; Mr. Hiratsuka's care, Ayaka's closeness, and Zaikiza's chuunibyou speech gave each route its own conversational atmosphere.
Supervised and limited edition animation
The game was supervised by the original author, Wataru Hang. The limited edition's included OVA centers on a local publication's marriage theme, with the Service Club holding a marriage contest at Komachi's suggestion; The animation script was also written by Wataru Wataru and produced by Brains Base.
