Original character designs for 'New Sakura Wars'

Tite Kubo drew his appearance based on SEGA's names, backgrounds, colors, and hairstyles, and also researched Taisho costumes, incorporating the shape of the hakama into Sakura's design. Major projects require internal discussions, while details like boot shapes can be quickly confirmed via LINE; This feedback rhythm is different from his weekly comic work.

Kubo included a description of the drawing mechanism in the knife draft, and the names Tengu Kunisada and WLOF were used as a temporary design tool in the design were later used. He proposed using spiritual power to drive the glowing lines of the combat suit and provided a close-up diagram of the mechanism's structure. Meanwhile, he adjusted Clarice's chest, legs, and glasses based on feedback, and redrew the young iron shaft; The staff in Sumire's draft was changed to a fan during development.
