Missing key personnel

An overseas agent about to enter the country disappears during transportation, and Reina, Fujika, Chris, and Murasaki from Mihama Academy are assigned to assist in the search. They work together with the twins of Kyōbune Sakuragaoka, but both sides have collaborations and frictions. The mysterious motorcycle rider Soul Speed appears at night, making the pursuit even more complicated.

Missions and the past

After repeatedly approaching the target but failing, the pursuit gradually escalates into a life-and-death conflict. The story also returns to Reina's first encounter with Haruto, giving their current employment and trust relationship a backdrop to the past. The second volume focuses on Reina, rather than reintroducing the routes of the five female protagonists from the former Mihama Academy.

Forms of works

Frontwing continues the series' worldview, but the main cast and Mihama's roles have changed. Volume 2 adopts a linear visual novel format without divergent paths, with Akio Watanabe responsible for character artwork and Ryuta Fujisaki responsible for the script.
