During the 2020 film "Shin Sakura Taisen THE ANIMATION," Hibiki Yamamura made Azami open up to the Flower Troupe members even more than at the beginning of the game, and he communicated with her as if he already recognized Kamiyama as the captain. After the animation was included in the game, she had learned her companions' voices and acting styles, and could exchange lines on set. She also recalled that Tomokazu Sugita would explain the positions of new characters and those from the old series, allowing everyone to listen and record together.
