Direct collaboration in the same office
In a 2017 interview, Shigeki Soejima explained that within ATLUS, all types of work have corresponding personnel, and when questions arise, they can directly talk to the other party. He also explained that the team prepares equipment and materials according to specific operational needs, and provides internally accumulated data for use.
Form a shared understanding through character images
According to Shigeki Soejima, ATLUS character design was not created solely by the artist: he transformed vague textual impressions into images, allowing the team to share parts that were difficult to express in words. Design also takes into account the relationship between 3D models, movements, animations, and characters, and then forms intentional shapes under these conditions.
