"End of the Century Poem" is a visual novel project produced by Nekoday, sharing a world setting with "Bubble Winterscene." The story shifts to Tokyo in 1999, beginning with the meeting of Lin Chunxuan from China and Emi Sakurai, a Japanese girl.

A meeting at the turn of the century
Lin Chunxuan lost her family in the 1998 flood, and multiple treatments for congenital heart disease were unsuccessful. Emi Sakurai also suffered from heart disease but underwent surgery ten years ago to recover. Two nineteen-year-old girls meet in Tokyo, facing differences in language and personality, as well as their limited time and uncertain futures.
The later stages of the characters from the previous game
Jing Xiaoran once went to Japan to work and lived with Kanna Sakurai and Emi; Now, Kanna is in charge of purchasing for the game store. After the bubble economy burst, Jiang Xiaomo became a private detective, and Shiori Sakura re-entered the restaurant business. Emi's classmate Mai Kinomoto and Jing Xiaoran's cousin Liang Wenxian also appear in the story.
Production lineup
Satoshi Kataoka wrote the script, Werkbau handled character design, and Ryuko Oishi handled concept design. The music is credited by bermei.inazawa, anNina is responsible for the theme song, and Gu Luo serves as producer and chief director.
Side story planning and distribution
The official website announced plans to turn the fictional game from the story into side DLCs, with twenty creators each writing the story, to be updated gradually after the main game launches. As of September 28, 2026, Steam has yet to announce the official release date; The side story plan and the official release of this story should be regarded separately.
