Those who do not die and the small town
In a world ruled by the undead, Azurite roams with a massive Zanmasa, making a living by hunting his own kind. He arrives in a town overrun by mutated creatures to take on the task of eliminating threats. The residents needed his power but also feared his identity, sending the girl Leticia to him.
Memory and time
Azurite possesses immense power, but lacks memories of his past. Spending time with the girl gives him a tangible attachment to his wanderings, and the immortals' unique lifespans differ from ordinary people, making their relationship face time and separation. The story then weaves the characters' reunion and reincarnation into a single emotional thread.
Narrative manipulation
The game progresses through command-based adventure, with some options switching to the perspective of characters other than the protagonist. The official Q&A specifically states that the black-and-white reversed display is used to read the actions of other characters. Therefore, understanding events cannot rely solely on the information Azurite currently knows; it is also necessary to pay attention to others' perspectives.
Viewpoint switching and selection
The main viewpoint is Azurite. When the background of the option is reversed, it means another character is up to the decision. The official example is Gizel's return home in the entertainment district. Leticia's key answer determines whether the ending can continue; a wrong choice will return to the opening.
Original resources and support
During standard installation, some CG is still stored on the CD; if the image is missing, the disc reading condition must be retained. Official support also recorded misalignment of Giselle review images and text color discoloration issues in System3.8 and 4.34.
