An accident in childhood left him with difficulty walking and needing a cane. His father worked in priesthood and exorcism, but at first, Tsukumo had almost no ability to sense yokai. After saving the severely injured Inuhiko and being possessed, he began to see previously invisible beings and took over the affairs left by his father during the summer vacation.
