Early summer reunited
Several years after her sister Ayaka passed away, Ryoko Himuro, who left the town when entering high school, returned to Reiji. Reiji and another childhood friend, Kotori Natsume, look forward to reuniting, but discover that Ryoko's personality has clearly changed, and the three cannot easily return to how they were before.
An invitation without a signature
Reiji received a letter without the sender's name, containing an invitation to a solo exhibition of popular picture book works. He invited one of the two girls to travel with him, but met the other on site. Their previously strained relationship further broke down, and the two left one after another.
The world in picture books
While chasing after the girl, Reiji encounters a mysterious figure who calls himself Persona. The other person left a cryptic remark about his guilt. When I open my eyes again, the everyday streets have turned into the fairerland from the picture book; Unresolved feelings between the characters continue to unfold as the stage shifts to a fantasy world.
