It seemed like a smooth start
Shion remembered her promise to Satoshi and took care of Satoko, Reina handled family matters, and Keiichi made the choice to let Rika see hope. She thought things could finally turn out differently, but Tepping reappeared, bringing Satoko back to danger.
Seeking help together
Keiichi and his friends decide to help Satoko together, involving a child consultation agency and the adults around them. MangaGamer translator Kouryuu, writing for the English edition, specifically discussed the child welfare conflicts in this article: the crisis has been seen, but rescue still faces institutional and interpersonal obstacles.
A fate that has yet to be resolved
Even if Satoko's situation changes, Rika still has to face Tomitake, Miyoshi Takano, and her own fate. A partial success does not mean all tragedies in Hinamizawa have disappeared; this story thus advances personal rescue efforts into investigating the causes behind the series of events.
and other chapters
This story picks up after 'Sin Annihilation Arc,' building on the possibility that the partners can help each other, while also dealing with the family conflicts from 'Cursed Kills' again. It belongs to the answer section consisting of chapters five to eight, followed by the "Sacri Haya Arc," rather than the final chapter of the entire series.
Included in 'Cui'
This story is included in PS3/Vita's Higurashi When They Cry and is part of its nineteen-story collection, offering full voice and cross-platform archives.
The story of the latest version begins
Keiichi had earned the trust of the villagers, and when Teppei took Satoko away again, his companions ran around seeking help. Lihua faced the efforts of her friends and the fate she knew.
The opening explanation includes three types of events
This article divides previous events into three categories: X refers to the suspicious and hidden spirits of the characters, Y refers to the actions of the true culprit, and Z refers to the Hinamizawa climate centered on the Big Three. Whether the partners can trust each other, whether the village continues to exclude the Hojo family, and the plans of the masterminds all influence the course of events.
Change the exclusion of the village
Keiichi persuades Oryo to save Satoko, causing the village's old attitude to change. The principal also encouraged Shion to keep trying, even as she revealeded giving up. This time, the partners resolve the crisis brought by Teppei through joint efforts and rescue agencies, but still cannot stop Takano's follow-up actions.
The substitute for Tomitake Death and Takano
The Kill Arc reveals that Tomitake lost control and died after being fed H173 by Takano and others; Previously, the police had not found drugs on the body. The cremated corpse in Mount Gifu did not belong to Takano herself, but was a substitute used to cover her actions. A timing error in preparing the body by the mountain dog left a record of the presumed death time of the corpse not matching the witness on festival night.
Yu Ru and the previous sound
Hanyu, who is by Rika's side, enters the story in this arc. The apology Rena heard earlier and the unusual noises in the ritual hall are also linked to her presence. Beyond the characters' fears, village customs, and the actors, this extraordinary factor also influences the voices heard by different characters.
