Graduation photos: choices before graduation

The story of "Graduation Photo" unfolds around the time of high school graduation. The protagonist must face his ex-boyfriend Hiromi Komura, his current partner, and the differences left over from the previous summer. The final campus life turns unspoken feelings into problems again, with past choices intertwined with the reality of his imminent departure.

Mihime: Graduation Kagura

'Princess Miki' takes place in Mimitsuhana Village. In the Kagura performance after graduating from junior high, the protagonist and Ayumi Tachibana play Shingo Benihana and Miki Tachibana, respectively. The anomaly related to the old story drags the two into the predicament of Edo-period characters, who must understand local legends and try to change the tragic experiences that led to them.

Graduation destinations and friendship

In 'Graduation Photo,' childhood friend Otome Maru and lover Haruko also face the issue of their future after graduation. Accepting a job means the two may be separated in different places, while staying means giving up the original opportunity. This subplot places the protagonist's emotional changes within the shared context of further education, employment, and friends leaving school.

Two different developments

Both works use command choices to advance text and settings, but the first focuses on reminiscing about love and separation, while the second adds suspense about changing the past. The public guide reviews distinguish between the original PC version and the PCE version's ending; The newly added branches and fixed protagonist names after porting cannot be uniformly applied to the 1992 version.

Platform and production

The original computer version is from Cocktail Soft, with existing materials listed as key illustrations by Reiko Shiratori. The X68000 version records March 26, 1992; the exact dates for PC-98 and MSX require separate verification. The PCE version was published by Coconut Japan Entertainment; F&C product catalog entry on October 29, 1994, Famitsu catalog entry on October 28, 1994. This version also features adjustments to the performance and ending.
