Everyday Yuri and Akihabara stage
While planning 'To All of Jinrui,' Gen Suganuma noticed that everyday yuri, which are common in anime and manga, are rare in games, so he decided to create his own one. The survival setting is set in Akihabara, considering both players' familiarity with the area and the hope to leverage the experience of the developer ACQUIRE; Leaving tools in urban ruins is easier to include in the setting than on a deserted island.
Survival mechanics and character relationships
Suganuma believes that overcoming difficulties brings a sense of accomplishment and eases the tension of everyday life, so he organized 'Jinrui Minasama e' by surviving in a ruined city and decided to replace the causes of urban desolation. The characters are depicted as bonds similar to family members, and the main story progresses through yuri events, allowing players to see these interactions.
Explain the theme to the company
When promoting "To All of Jinrui," Suganuma explained the subject matter to company members who didn't understand yuri and then prepared market data to illustrate the development of the animation and manga fields. In a 2019 interview, he recalled that the gaming market is still under development, so how to help companies understand this direction has become part of the planning process.
