Returning once more to the cherry blossom clouds
Ren Saijo returns to the long-absent Sakura-un district in spring and enters Sakura Gundai Academy, which emphasizes student autonomy. The school will provide rewards based on activity results, with the highest title, ALIA, granting special privileges. Through meeting the girl and joining a club, Ren begins to encounter these rules, which differ from those of ordinary schools.
College system
The large campus facilities are managed by computers and ID cards called Arken, and there are also departments dedicated to future science research. Clubs compete against each other through the Spread ALIA battle, linking the Arken skills developed by students with group activities.
Urban and legendary
Sakura Cloud's new urban plan has transformed stations, shopping streets, and transportation, while cherry blossoms, parks, and old shrines still retain traces of the past. Students talk about the Lost Sakura and the Eternal Land that can grant wishes, and Ren repeatedly sees a vision called the Bookshelf Sky.
Version differences
Sacrament was released on Vita on October 29, 2015, with original artwork by Naru Nanao and Mitha, and script credited by Sai Hazuki, Genome Osaka, and others. The 2019 PS4 version of "Sacrament Plus" also includes Flowering Sky and additional content, including the Qingdao training camp and the new character Inori Sakuhi.
Vita version: Academy size
The official website describes Sakura Gundai Academy as a large school with 10,000 students. In addition to the main building, the campus also has multiple branch buildings, research facilities, and affiliated colleges. There are over a thousand clubs and research sessions, and activities are maintained after school and on weekends.
Vita Edition: Weekend club competitions
Large-scale Spread ALIA battles are scheduled for weekends, where students compete against each other using their Arken exercises. This event takes place in a campus environment where numerous clubs and research societies gather together.
Vita Edition: Road Changes with Old Neighborhoods
Sakuraun Station Front has evolved from a regular station front with a small roundabout six years ago into a large intersection. The old commercial street was also expanded into an arcade street with urban redevelopment, but old-style shops still remain. Another shrine at the foot of the mountain lost foot traffic due to changes in street direction due to new urban planning, gradually becoming a quiet resting spot for some local residents.
