Isolation after winning the award

The protagonist has long feared others, and the light novel written in seclusion won the Newcomer Award. Success did not ease his anxiety; instead, it made jealousy, envy, and daily interactions stressful. He uses his mind-reading abilities to understand the thoughts of those around him and constantly interprets others' actions with his own judgment.

The younger sister and the outside world

For the protagonist, his sister is the only person in the family who can offer comfort. Their closeness is built on withdrawal from the outside world, and the story revolves around whether dependence can become a source of support for life. The "others" in the work refer not only to the specific person they meet, but also to the social connections the protagonist finds difficult to establish.

Reading Methods and Character Perspectives

The game uses a visual novel format where text overlays the screen, allowing you to hide text and view illustrations. The narrative always stays close to the protagonist's feelings: he uses his mind-reading abilities to observe others and tries to exploit their psychological weaknesses to cause harm. The social contact brought by the award conflicted with his closed family life, making the newly acquired abilities less easy to socialize.

Creative staff

nyalra was responsible for scriptwriting and chief editor, Ohisashiburi handled character design and art, and Aiobahn +81 produced the music. Maruino was responsible for the interface, Yuto Hama designed the logo, and HAYAO handled the programming. The work covers themes related to psychological distress, suicide, and injury, with the story focusing on the characters' social lives and family dependencies.

Writer and sister

The overly sensitive protagonist avoids social interactions, winning a newcomer award for his writing, but jealousy and misunderstanding further alienate him from the outside world. His sister lives with him, and the two rely on each other. His mind-reading abilities help him face others' thoughts more directly.
