Shops reopened
Jin's sister-in-law, Ema Sugisawa, runs Famille, which lost its storefront due to a fire. The new Brick Mall invited him to move in, prompting Ren to reassemble his scattered staff. As the opening preparations were nearing completion, the third Curio store appeared right across the street; Both stores use European-style classical café decor and service, and Famille's business philosophy was originally inspired by Curio.
Two cafés
Famille's desserts are made by Emma, while Curio receives pastries delivered daily from the main store. The mall's public dining area allows employees from both stores to meet frequently. Jin and Curio team leader Huachou Ling'ai agree to compete in sales, intertwining business competition and private interactions among employees.
Employees and old acquaintances
Newcomer Yufei Fumi joins on the eve of opening; cheerful but prone to mistakes; Asuka Yukino had already been tutored by Jin, and after returning to work, she continued to seek his advice. Kasuri Suzunami can also entertain guests and assist with making desserts. Rikako Naka, the manager of the old shop, is Jin's college classmate but does not return under the pretext of job hunting. Her relationship with the old shop forms another clue.
Subsequent remakes
The remake features original artwork and character design by Neko-nyan, with Fumiaki Maruto and Kikakuya handling the script, and the theme song retained from "Leaf ticket." The PS4 and Switch versions were released on November 25, 2021, and the PC Standard Edition was released on July 29, 2022.
Remastered: Different attitudes among competing stores
Curio Main Store sends Mizuna Kawabata to Store No. 3 to support her friend Rei. She takes the initiative to talk to Jin, acting in the opposite way of Rei, who is hostile toward Famille. Store manager Takaaki Itabashi delegated the work to the staff, especially relying on Reiai.
Remake: Rikako's business plan
Referencing Curio to establish the Famille style, it was a proposal proposed by Rikako Natsukai, and Jin and Ema relied on her many times. When the shop was revived, she refused to return, citing job hunting. The plan was still used, but she was no longer part of the reorganized team.
