Hometown and the first letter

His childhood friend Chika Yazawa passed away two years ago from a heart attack, and since then, he moved to Tokyo with his parents. The words in the summer letters seem to come from a thousand flowers, with a small key attached. When he returned home to meet Chika's twin sister, Baihua, he learned she had received a similar letter. Hyakka's friend Natsune Igarashi suggested they follow the address in the letter to find the sender.

The journey of six keys

New letters always appeared at the front of the group as if pre-arranged, and other participants joined in one after another. Mawa Nakajima starts with two keys and knows part of the game rules; Former nun Kato Haneko accompanies young people on a trip, but calls herself a 'pawn' rather than a 'player.' Yuki Serizawa also joined after receiving a letter and a key. Clues about the "Blue Bird," the man in the trench coat who followed them, and the gradually awakening old memories together form the mystery.

Companions and people along the way

Baihua is introverted, has good grades but is not athletic, and often hides her true thoughts. Natsune is a member of the basketball club, straightforward by nature, and tends to involve those around her in her actions. Zhen Mian is sometimes childish, sometimes calm and mature, her whereabouts elusive. The letter also led the group to Reiko Arita; Nanami Onoe is a high school student she met during her travels, lives alone, and participates in a hospital caregiver experience program.

Choice of actions and a combination of information

Story progression consists of two distinct branches. Choices of action may keep the investigation going, or it could end with unsolved mysteries due to mistaken actions. Information combination requires combining clues already gathered; When you make a combination error, you return to the information choice, and unlike some action mistakes, the story doesn't end immediately. Dialogue, protagonist monologue, and scene of events all present the investigation process together.

Production division of labor

Hiderou Horibe was responsible for character design and character concept art, covering character illustrations and event illustrations. Midori Tateyama mainly participated in the original story concept and setting, Recite handled the script, VRIDGE handled planning, directing, and development, and SilverBullet handled key animation materials, animation, and script order management.

Theme song

Anri Hasegawa sings the game "Fragments Blue," which shares the same name as the game. The singer's official page introduced it as a new song written by Junichi Inagaki for the game; The single also includes "Natsu no Kluxon" and its accompanying version.
