School life is about to end
The protagonist has just obtained his teaching qualification and, upon his first job, faces a small school where different grades share the same class. The school has a limited lifespan, so teachers, children, principals, and residents who remain in town all have to consider where to go after spring arrives. Therefore, daily teaching always carries the meaning of parting soon.
Four students
Fifth-grade Takeshi Yamazaki is willful yet straightforward; Fourth grader Shunxiang Shinjou is not good at expressing himself with words. Asuna Funabashi is also in fifth grade, cheerful and caring for the group; In sixth grade, Mirai Takaoka often acts alone and has a rather complicated family background. The principal is also responsible for providing school meals, while Asuna's parents run a café outside town, providing Story with a place to socialize outside of school.
Unusual in everyday life
Official profiles also list residents who suddenly behaved abnormally, as well as cults that sparked rumors. These unsettling factors coexist with the gentle daily routine of teachers and students. Another story, 'The Story of a Gigolo,' centers on the Mystery Novel Research Club members Kimikage Shirakawa, Wataru Kurosaki, and Mitsuhiko Manaka. The three focus on emotions, money, and maintaining balance, and belong to a different group.
Teacher and four students
The narrator is a 17-year-old new teacher working at a rural school where different grades share a class. Takeshi is straightforward but willful; Harusho struggles to express himself, Asuna is responsible for coordination, and Rai often acts alone. Chunxiang's explanation was based on the teacher's speculative tone and expressed difficulty, without a definitive diagnosis.
Family, Meals, and Café
The principal was also responsible for serving meals, often wearing an apron over his suit. Asuna's parents jointly run a café outside town, hoping it will become a place everyone wants to return to; The interaction between families and residents thus extends beyond the classroom.
Another research session
A Certain Gigolo Story: Kimikaze and Wataru Mitsuhiko are members of the mystery novel research group. Kōkage acts emotionally, Wataru values numbers and money, Mitsuhiko coordinates both, and the three form a separate group of characters.
Production and theme song
Mamomo was responsible for planning, writing, and music, with Masao Tachibanayama participating in the writing and Niito responsible for character design. The opening theme lights were sung by nayuta, the ending scenery by Anna Okasaki, and both songs were written and composed by Mamomo, with the recording director Usui Eight credited for the ending credits.
The duration of the final semester
The story page depicts the final stage as four months before the school closes, while the teacher profile page says they must fulfill their duties within three months. The two introductions differ in how they describe the duration of the final semester.
