Aaron and the Academy
Aaron Goulagnier experienced an incident involving a mounted spear duel, which left him with a lingering attachment to competition, but he still loved the sport. He came to Winfort College as a second-year transfer student. The academy has a Knight Department, Knight Auxiliary Department, and General Department; Knights participate in competitions, assistants assist with training and preparation, and the protagonist's school life revolves around these divisions of labor.
Knights and daily actions
Players choose knights to build relationships with, then arrange their lives through classes, part-time jobs, outings, and dates. Actions affect abilities and trigger character events. Knights not selected as main development targets can still participate in side quests and dating, and character relationships are not limited to matches alone.
Ending conditions
The outcome depends on the completion of related events, affection, ability, and other conditions. The listing instructions provide the conditions for ending opening and difficulty indicators, making it easier to fill in any unmet requirements. At that time, the game used a single-player development system with no stamina waiting restrictions, and the schedule would still change routes.
New characters
The late 2015 update introduced side stories for Bai Qianling and Krista. Bai Qianling is a second-year Taiwanese-French international student in the Knight Department, in the same year as Akane Ryuzoji, and met Aaron through Akane; She is curious and lively, diligently practicing, but easily impatient at critical moments. Krista is a first-year student, shy and inexperienced in competition. When she comes into contact through events, her classmate Lisa will be helpful.
Venues and series characters
Mio, Novell, Svieria, Akane, Lisa, and other characters from the series appear in the mobile version. Ayako also runs TARTE TIME, and the shop serves as a contact point for people outside of campus life. The mobile version centers on Aaron and arranges a new story, continuing the original knight's school setting.
Release
The paid versions for iOS and Android were launched simultaneously on August 25, 2015. In a December announcement of the same year, the publisher also mentioned the free version and new character updates; These materials correspond to the product arrangements at the time.
