The robotics research department has only two people
The story is set on Tanegashima. The robotics research club at Chuo Tanegashima High School is left with only two members: Kai Yashio and captain Akiho Senomiya, facing a situation where they cannot continue to sustain. Akiho wants to build a giant robot, but Kaixiang puts a lot of energy into robot fighting games.
The two approach robots differently: Qiu Hui is obsessed with real-life production and club goals, while Kai Sho starts from gaming and personal interests. The involvement of members and collaborators gradually turned what seemed like distant plans into tasks that required concrete solutions.
Society and island information
Characters like Subaru Hidaka, Junwa Daitoku, and Kamishiro Flora became involved in the club's activities. Their technologies, experiences, and personalities are all different, and the robot project goes beyond the daily routine of the first two.
On the island, Kaixiang encounters hidden reports involving incidents far beyond the high school club. Small-scale campus objectives run parallel with large-scale questions, forming an important part of the story's structure. How the report is explained and how much the people truly know is gradually revealed as the process progresses.
PokeCom and augmented reality
The portable terminals in the works serve communication and observation functions, while AR expressions allow characters to see information overlaid on real scenes. Searching for island information is therefore connected to the device interface, differing from simply selecting survey locations from menus.
These fictional terminal features are part of the game's performance and do not require players to install real-world augmented reality applications separately. The discoveries and misunderstandings made by characters when using the device are also part of the narrative.
ELITE and DaSH
This entry corresponds to ELITE, rather than merging all items in the series into one product. ELITE on Steam launched in October 2020, with its PC platform and language information separately from earlier release records.
《ROBOTICS; NOTES DaSH is another work that continues the characters' experiences. The official simultaneous promotion of the two titles is not directly included in the ELITE opening introduction due to the post-graduation situations and character changes in DaSH.
The 2014 edition reconstructed the narrative
The 2014 PS Vita version maintained the story framework, rearranged the pacing, supplemented explanations of Haixiang's psychology and perspective, and added animation and new visuals.
Rebuilt 3D engine with terminal operations
The team rebuilt the 3D engine for Vita and improved character animations. PokeCom supports touch, zoom, and scrolling, and the AR app Gülf also uses mobile device movement to observe the screen.
The production direction of the 2014 theme song
The 2014 PS Vita version features 'Promise Augment' as the opening theme. Zwei highlighted the group's characteristics more than the original, with Megu challenging the recording with a large number of moving bass lines; Based on previous live feedback, Ayumu proposed adding an audience participation in singing both the beginning and the end.
