A solo winter trip
Kusaka Munejo originally planned to travel with his friend Kakusuke Sonosue, but after the friend canceled at the last minute, he still used the student travel plan and set out alone. Zong Cheng had occasional precognitive experiences since childhood and rarely socialized at school. On the way, he meets his classmate Rumi Kozuka, whose destination is her hometown, Setsugetsucho.
A town separated by a river
In winter, snow accumulates in Setsugetsu Town, and its entry and exit are closely tied to the river boundary. The rumors of ghosts and spirits disappearing in December made Zong Cheng's usual sense of instability even more uneasy. He meets Mocheng Shaxue by the river: the girl's quiet expression blends with the snowy scenery, adding an inexplicable encounter to the journey.
Inns and companions
Kyohei Izumi runs the Realize Time inn, and his younger sister Masaka Izumi helps run the family. The older brother was attentive, but the younger sister was not good at dealing with strangers; when Zong Cheng checked in, she responded awkwardly. Outgoing Rumi is interested in mysterious phenomena and approaches the town's anomalies together with Sojo.
Production and sound
Hiroaki Watanabe was responsible for original story, supervision, script, and key animation, while Akisuke Kisaragi was responsible for the music. Sayuki Mojo, Rumi Kozuka, and Masaka Izumi are voiced by Kana Minami, MI-A, and Hina Sugisaki, respectively; Directed by Kyo Hei Izumi and Masaaki Kimura, directed by Kakusu Sakosue and Yuya Makitaka. Yuya Takamaki also collaborated with Hiroaki Watanabe in film performance and editing.

All three songs have lyrics by Hiroaki Watanabe, composition and arrangement by Akisuke Kisaragi, and vocals by Akino Nakazawa. The vocals and soundtrack together continue the winter atmosphere of the works.
