Visual design of summer air
In an excerpt from an official interview with GINKA's staff, Yusano said that collaborating with Asta Konno again made him happy and hoped to create images that fit the story. When discussing the expression of transparency, Yusano focuses on the unique summer air, hoping the image conveys heat, dazzling, and freshness simultaneously, rather than relying solely on the outlines of the figures to convey the season.
From islands to the world of plants, the color shifts
Kazuya, director of "KANADE," explained that Yusano reconsidered color in a world covered by plants and in decline, making the main visuals and other materials distinctly different from "GINKA." The latter uses a highly saturated summer blue to represent the island, while the former lowers the saturation, changing the sky to a lighter water blue, visually conveying the coolness of greenery and ruins; This explanation comes from the director's review of key animation work.
The transition between key animation and coloring work
"GINKA" director Kazuya explained that besides key animation, Yusano also handles coloring work, making the visual processing different from the "Gray" series. The director was already familiar with her work, so he could anticipate how she would complete the image during the planning stage.

During the production of "ATRI," Yusa's illustration of the height difference between Nasa and Atoli helped Asta Konno better grasp their images and relationship.
GINKA graphics coordination
Yusano also served as graphic coordinator in "GINKA." Asta Konno believes that the lighting effects match the fantastical atmosphere of the work.
ATRI's key animation and graphic coordination
When participating in ATRI, Yusano had no prior experience as key animators and also served as graphic coordinator. She was recommended by SCA-ji and supported by experienced drafting staff.
