"Hidden God and Summer Evening" is a short exploration adventure in which middle school student Mizuho wanders into the world on the other side of the shrine at dusk, searching for a way home with the fox Tamaki.

A shrine at dusk
On his way home, Mizuho took a shortcut into the shrine and later found himself unable to leave. The fox Tamaki tells them that this place belongs to youkai, and it becomes dangerous when it gets completely dark. The two began searching for a way back to reality, but the other yokai were unwilling to let them leave smoothly.
Exploration and seeking help
The game progresses in the form of a short ADV, and the protagonist's name can be changed. The menu's "Consultation" function may provide clues when companions are present, and whether you can seek help depends on your current companion status.
Ending and production
The author Mitake used WOLF RPG Editor to create this game, offering multiple endings. The author gives the full ending reading and exploration time to about one and a half hours.
Release records
The work was registered on Freem on September 4, 2018, and subsequently corrected image display, some text, and character tiles. The download version updated in December 2018 was 1.02.
Monster entrustment and following the environment
During the escape, Mizuho must play games with the monsters or accept their requests, gradually opening the way home. The exploration in PC 1.01 mainly revolves around the circular shrine grounds, where accepting requests and winning are steps to prepare for escape.
Victory and defeat, two outcomes
The work has two endings. Defeats in each stage of the match result in a direct GAME OVER, with the loss performance and the ending itself separate.
Attitude choices with additional scenes
Players can make Mizuho act either obediently or harshly. Additional scenes can also be viewed separately when Tamaki is together and when she is absent.
