Entering the house through the phone screen
At first, the protagonist only takes care of a character through his phone, but suddenly appears in a house he has just visited. He followed the instructions of the bedroom equipment and soon met a familiar girl. Caring for the game is connected to the space players personally enter through this.
Mita and the players
The Chinese product introduction includes cooking, housework, and giving small gifts as everyday life for the two of them. Mita wants players to stay inside the house all the time; When players want to leave, the once intimate words start to tense. The work uses this change in relationships to evoke a terrifying atmosphere.
Scene interaction and performance
The game features perspective shifts from 2D to 3D, allowing players to interact with Mita and items in the room. The developer demo also recorded adjustments to task prompts, dialogue choices, and chopping interactions. Shochiku positioned the official version as a horror 3D adventure and explained that the Japanese version was played by Kana Hanaiwa as a single character with nine characters.
Demo and official versions
AIHASTO offers a Windows demo on itch.io, while the official product will be released on Steam in December 2024, published by IndieArk and handled by Shochiku in Japan. Steam lists Chinese Simplified interfaces, voice, and subtitles; Update records for the trial version and official product versions are maintained separately.
Released and performed in Japanese
AIHASTO was responsible for development, published by IndieArk, and Shochiku handled distribution in Japan. In the Japanese version, Kana Hanaiwa single-handedly performs nine different character voices; Character names, Mita's identities in various versions, and their relationships are explained separately in the story.
