Reading notes can simultaneously preserve chapter positions, current understanding, and unanswered questions. When preparing to convert it into a public entry, separate verifiable information, spoiler analysis, and personal feelings separately.
Record the location
At the beginning of the notes, write the version and chapters of the work, indicating the spoiler scope. When reviewing, you can directly return to the corresponding position.
Three types of content
- Fact: What appears in this chapter, who said what.
- Question: A relationship or cause of an event that is temporarily unclear.
- Reflections: Personal understanding of scenes, music, or character behavior.
After reading it,
Keep the initial question and add chapters answering it later. When preparing to write an encyclopedia, include verifiable information in the main text; Personal feelings are discussed or clearly annotated in the interpretation paragraph.
Write down the location first, then the content
At the beginning of the notes, write the full name of the work, platform, text language, and current chapter, and record the archive slot if necessary. When reading across routes, indicate the route name and completed prerequisites; This way, when rereading or checking the data, you can find the same scene.
A brief record can include "chapter location / what happened / issues at the time / later additions." This is an example of a note format; you don't have to fill every paragraph or copy your game dialogue line by line.
Distinguish between observation and judgment
Observe and record what the work actually presents, such as where a character says something; Judgment records what you think that means. If the character's claim hasn't been confirmed, keep the phrase 'character ......' to avoid confirming speculation in notes as fact.
Questions can be individually numbered, with the chapter that answers them added later. Keeping the initial judgment reveals how the work changes the reader's understanding; There's no need to quietly delete all the early guesses after finishing reading.
Record scenes you want to revisit
When music, performances, or character actions leave a deep impression on you, simply write the location of the scene and the specific feelings. If you want to discuss a passage of dialogue, keep the necessary short phrases and record the version; Different translations may affect comprehension and cannot be directly pieced together as the same original text.
When inserting images or external links, provide the source and purpose. Accessing an image does not mean you can freely repost it; If materials are insufficient, keep links and notes to be checked first; there's no need to repost entire scripts or whole sets of images just to keep notes complete.
Compiled from private notes into public information
Before publishing, clearly state the spoiler scope, removing hidden identities and ending judgments from the title, summary, and image description. Verifiable facts are compiled into the main text of the work, with personal judgment and analysis indicating viewpoints and evidence. Pure reading experience is reserved as personal notes or discussions.
When quoting others' explanations, keep the author and link, and do not treat your own memories as the original source. If you find a conflict between notes and newly read materials, first go back to the same version to check the scene, then add notes and corrections; Parts that cannot be confirmed can continue to be held as issues.
Start a note
The first line records the complete title, version, platform, language, and current chapter of the work. After each reading, write down the date and progress to help you revisit your later thoughts and the context of the time.
Facts and feelings are separate
What the characters said and what they chose is their reading record; Why I like this part and how I interpret the character are personal thoughts. It is speculated that it should first be listed as a pending issue, then reviewed after completing the game with subsequent events to decide whether to include it in the reference entry.
People, music, and related materials
When you encounter a favorite character or song, note down their original name, their appearance location, and the credits shown on screen. When organizing public entries, check the official website, staff list, or record catalog, and add the corresponding internal links.
Personal entries and co-edits
Notes can be placed in your personal Wiki, and after the main text is published, you can read and cite them, with the user maintaining them by default. Others may request one edit. When organizing verified facts into a shared entry, keep the source and submit according to the entry's permissions.
