Subtitle as the secondary option
In his diary entry on April 5, 2006, Ikahata said that the subtitle for "Mai-HiME: System Tree of Fate Shura" was decided after the team jointly proposed candidates. "Purple" was once a secondary choice, associated with the imagery of Ji Zicao and Forget-me-Not Grass, but the team ultimately felt that the term "Asura" was more powerful and concrete.
