The campus has another face

Chihiro maintains the image of an honor student at school, but secretly leads a different lifestyle; Mian Xue has received negative reviews due to her appearance and grades, but in reality, it's not what others imagine. After meeting outside of school, Chihiro fabricates the identity of her twin sister 'Chiuha' to cover up her identity. Closeness is accompanied by an increasingly difficult lie to maintain.

Relationship with Ji Shen

This installment moves the timeline back ten years, with Zihua and Qingwei appearing as side characters in the previous game. The interactions of the new protagonists are the current main thread, while the experiences of the old characters remain unresolved. Screenwriter H no Tenpyo explained in an interview that the main characters in each part of the Linghua series are different, and other characters also draw inspiration from their experiences.

Sounds and branches

The work uses complete Chinese audio and multiple endings. H no Tenping handled the script, whiisky handled character design and CG, and Saul Robinson was in charge of the music. Chinese products published by PeriScope Game and English products published by Kikai Digital use different Steam pages; The English version clearly lists three endings, with the voiceover still in Mandarin.

Ten years apart, Linghua Academy

The story takes place ten years after the timeline of 'Ji Shen' at Linghua Girls' Academy. On campus, the top student with opposite evaluations forms a relationship with a delinquent girl, choosing to show another side of each other beyond the classroom. Both works share a school setting, but the time span does not mean the characters are exactly the same age or relationship.

Character voice and production

The voice credits are Doudou, XY Big Cane, Moonlit Bridge, Feng Su, Lin Su SUSU, and Guiyuan Yibao; Characters and CG by whiisky, music by Saul Robinson. H no Tenpyo was responsible for the script, Cat in the Box participated in the UI and PV, Ming Mingzi also participated in the PV, and the performance was signed by LaHee Breya and Titania Little Skirt.

Stay on campus tests and tutoring applications

After joining Linghua, Mian Xue gradually lost motivation to study. Her congenital farsightedness often caused her to frown unintentionally, and her appearance and grades deepened her classmates' misunderstandings about her. Qianxun overhears the new principal, Zihua, discussing the issue of dropping out with the homeroom teacher, and proactively asks to help Mianxue with tutoring so she can pass a special test in half a month and stay at school.

Covering up lies and confessions

Outside of the tutoring plan, Qianxun continued to approach Mian Xue under the guise of Qianyu. She tries to make both identities exist at the same time, even hiding the conflict in ways that hurt herself; Under tension and exhaustion, she fell into Mian Xue's probing, and the lie was finally exposed. After Qianxun confessed, the two separated, and Mianxue began to reconsider her feelings for her.

Appointments outside of exams

Mian Xue decided to skip next week's exam and still keep her promise to spend the day with Qianxun as a friend. During their final KTV meeting, they express their feelings through song; "King of Karaoke" appears in this pre-farewell scene. The issue of staying at school and the emotional response thus become an important turning point in each ending.
