The first two chapters and this chapter
At the start of the series, Luan, who had left his assassin career, was attacked by a man-eating monster and was saved by Ling Ling. The events they experience afterward extend into Chapter 3. The English subtitle of Chapter One is Boy Meets Girl, Chapter Two is The Fable of the Fake Elixir of Life, and Chapter Three is Lady Hexers.
Conflicts sparked by idols
In Chapter 3, their chance encounter with Taomi Nyanyan further intensifies the conflict between assassins, yokai, and Taoist practitioners. Beyond the surface battles, the incident still involves hidden masterminds.
An animated visual novel
The work uses extensive animation to depict exaggerated battle scenes, while also advancing in the style of a visual novel. The expressiveness of action scenes is part of the narrative presentation and does not require players to directly operate the fight.
