Content and inclusion
"アセンション" is the theme song for Sui, with the full vocal version included in the second track of the Sui theme song collection released on March 4, 2015.
The first duet was connected to "Forest of Lamentation."
This was Ayane's first CD duet with Kanako Itou. Ito hoped that the different singing styles within their similar voices would create a fusion and contrast; Ayane specifically mentioned that the lyrics quoted the title of the PS2 "Matsuri" song "Forest of Regret."
