An unsigned letter
The protagonist transfers schools multiple times from elementary to middle school, leaving memories of interacting with female classmates in different cities. During spring break before starting university, he receives an anonymous letter asking to see him again. Guessing the sender is among his former classmates, he sets out to revisit the place where he once lived. Every reunion connects a past to a girl who has grown up.
Travel expenses and appointments
Regular study and part-time work form a basic cycle with weekend outings. Travel requires planning funds, transportation, and mobility, as well as considering the intimacy and longing of girls in different cities. Dates, unexpected events, and partings can all affect relationships. How to arrange your route within a limited time is the main thing to do outside of reading the story.
Twelve paragraphs of past events
The game weaves together twelve personal memories of the common protagonists, with scenery and seasonal events from various places serving as the backdrop for their reunion. The pre-day talk "Constraints" focuses on the girls' preserved first love memories; The anime "Sentimental Journey" also develops its own chapters from these characters, which need to be distinguished from the main story's journey and ending.
The structure of the pre-anime story
"Sentimental Journey" aired from April 8 to July 1, 1998, with a total of 12 episodes, each centered on twelve young girls.
