Theme vocals for the Never7 PSP version

Asriel performed the opening theme 'Night Sky Where Billions of Stardust Falls' and the ending theme 'Blooming Flower' for the PSP version of Never7. In a 2009 interview, he introduced that the group consisted of Keisuke Kurose and KOKOMI, who also explained the contrast between the opening imagery and sound of each song.

From online singing to independent releases

Keisuke Kurose and KOKOMI recalled in a 2014 interview that they met while sharing their music online. At that time, KOKOMI was using a karaoke microphone connected to a computer to record and upload songs, and Kurose happened to hear her voice. After the two began collaborating on music production, they pressed CDs themselves and sold them at Comic Market.

Communicate the theme and arrangement of the lyrics

During the production of "Resurrection," KOKOMI informed Keisuke Kurose and the arranger of each song's theme during the lyric writing stage. According to her recollection, the piano-themed "fp" also increased the sound of the piano.

Try different vocal qualities and singing styles

In a 2014 interview, KOKOMI said this album allowed her to try a singing style different from her previous high notes and girlish vocal quality. She used the title track as an example to explain that the chorus opens up the lower vocal parts, and the latter half gradually returns to her usual singing style.
