Continuing from the previous chapter
Duan Xianchong and Jiang Chengxue encountered a blizzard while working in the snowy mountains and were trapped along with the others. The Resolution arc unfolds along the previous survival dilemma, answering questions such as whether the traveler can survive, whether the snow girl exists, and who the true Realm Lord is.
Snow in the courtyard and travelers alike
In 2012, a new character introduction was added to Ting Xue. She appeared before Duan Xianchong in the snow, but her coming and going was uncertain; whether she truly existed was part of the mystery. Previous figures such as Guihai Feng, Bai Youyou, Ji Chouran, and Luan Yuan are further listed in this article.
Reading order and scale
The developers recommend starting with the bundled EX edition before moving on to the Liberation Arc. The promotional materials listed about 400,000 words of the Liberation Section and three routes; The approximately 600,000 words represent the combined scale of the EX version and the Liberation Arc. The EX version also updated the character art and CG from the previous game.
Production
Xiaopu is responsible for hosting, world-building, and scriptwriting, and participates in performances and interfaces. Su Xing Chenfeng participated in art, programming, and performance; Demon Wind Chime, Kyoko Umbrella, and Sayo are all listed in the art group. Baiyun Wushuang participated in the programming, Amamiya Yume participated in UI/UE, and music was credited by Qiu Shi and Xuan Yin.
Physical editions and subsequent versions
The pre-sale announcement was published on August 12, 2012, and the club released the official sales record on September 6. The limited first edition includes the EX and Release Chapter game discs, original soundtrack CDs, and a setting set of over forty pages; The Deluxe Edition also includes two games. The 2022 edition of 'Snow Fundamental Realm S' is organized into two parts: the Creation Arc and the Clearing Realm Arc.
Secret relationships among travelers
In the 2012 Resolution arc, it was revealed that Shutongshan is Gui Haifeng's father and has a romantic relationship with Chang Sheqing. Luan Yuan hired Ji Chouran, a taciturn traveler who was actually a trainee assassin. The connections between couples, fathers and daughters, lovers, and employers in the inn give their cooperation and opposition different origins.
Different memories and later branches
The first round was eliminated first, and the second round was open to all options. The early events remain similar, with the main divergence developing later, leading to the Guihai Line and the Tingxue Line. Duan Xianchong repeatedly witnesses similar yet different murder cases, and by comparing these events, he approaches the truth; The story also uses the concept of a recreated personality to illustrate his perception and memory.
Revenge background and the legend of the wandering girl
The ending connects Jiang Chengxue and Tingxue's experiences avenging their father, Duan Xianchong's family fate and the swapping of girlfriend statuses, with the cause of revenge involving commercial competition and schemes beyond the snowy mountains. The characters' pasts are also connected to the legend of the wandering maiden: the sacred Yue Li corresponds to Bai Youyou, and the sound of Luo Yifeng corresponds to Gui Hai Feng.
