Content and inclusion
Released on February 24, 2005, first edition SLPM-65900 includes a fifth game demo version, usually SLPM-65906. Fifteen downloadable Dreamcast episodes are included as special episodes and unlocked with a password and some casino cards.
PS2 L2 window and battle information
On the PS2 version, pressing L2 opens a small window at the top right of the screen. In the adventure part, after obtaining the portable Kinematoron, the Paris Huajigtan communication will appear here; When receiving communication, even if the small window is not opened in advance, it will automatically display. In combat, radar displays both sides' positions, with circles representing flower groups and crosses representing enemy forces.
After locking onto the target, the small window lists the number of enemies within the attack range, durability, spirit value, and the expected number of consecutive attacks needed. The name of the ultimate move in use will also be displayed scrolling.
PS2 buttons are linked to save files from previous games
Holding R2 lets you quickly skip messages. Pressing R3 on the right joystick performs the same actions as Start, such as opening menus in battle; Flip the right stick left or right to rotate the lens instead of L1 or R1.
The Dreamcast version uses a crossover event caused by the merging of save files from the previous two games, and in the PS2 version, it reads the save files of 'Sakura Taisen ~Atsuki Chishio ni~'. This condition does not require the save to have already cleared the level.
The conditions for unlocking the special drama
In the fifteen special episodes, the beginner instructions do not require a password, while the birthday arc uses the password listed by the official 20050224. In addition to the password, the Alarm Clock Arc for the five Flower Troupe members also requires a casino Drama Card, while 'The Magnificent Bet' requires a Drama Card 2.
"Christmas Calendar" starts from December 1st, with a story written every day, continuing until Christmas. It is listed separately in the special drama catalog along with regular short stories and character alarm clocks, and the public code used is 31491110.
Mini-games and additional modes
First, complete the event where you play mini-games with members of the Paris Fighter Group in the adventure section before you can continue playing the corresponding content in the additional mode "Barry's Elegant Day." The casino also offers poker, blackjack, and slot machines.
A mini-game for five members
"Seminary Uniform and Machine Gun" features Erika as the counterpart. Players use machine guns to shoot the continuously appearing steam beasts on the field; Once you touch an enemy, the game ends.
'The Trail Man' uses Grisine as her counterpart. Players pass checkpoints one by one on the 8×8 board and finally reach Grisine's side. The route must also cover every accessible grid.
'Crazy Larry' is based on Cocricco. Players engage in consecutive feather battles with her, increasing the number of feathers during the process, with up to four feathers handled at once. Missing a catch will reduce the feather markers at the bottom left of the screen; when all are depleted, the game ends.
"Tomorrow's Lock" is based on Lobelia. Players use the joystick or arrow keys to move the ball, avoid walls and obstacles, and reach the finish line within the time limit. Hitting an obstacle causes the ball to explode and lose time, but it does not immediately result in a failure for the entire round.
"Where the Arrow Hits" features Fireworks as its counterpart. Players pull down the analog stick to draw the bow, then release and shoot arrows. Each target that appears can only be shot at one arrow.
PS2 Special Series: Spring Events
"Chaos!" The Spring Incident begins with Erika and Shi plotting something, with players and Mel working together to uncover the truth; The official catalogue does not disclose the program details or the investigation conclusion in the introduction.
PS2 Reliability combat adjustment
The Flower Squad members' trust will be adjusted for combat ability, increasing attack by 8, defense by 5, and movement by 2. Prompt sounds in conversations or events indicate changes in trust; Launching a combined attack requires a high level of trust.
PS2 Captain Levels and Types
The title, captain level, and leader type of the top player change with adventure actions and battle performance, which can be checked on the "Member Status" trust panel during the transition. The number of medals indicates the captain's level, influence, and finishing power; The Normal, Attack, and Defense types focus on adjacent single-target attacks, multi-target attacks around the area, and durability recovery for nearby team members.
