One of the credited composers for the original soundtrack of "SIREN."
Original sound work
Composed for songs such as 'Hymn of the Gods' and 'Orasho - Hymn of the Gods'; The 2023 remake soundtrack also lists several of its scene tracks.
The loop and collaboration of the original "SIREN."
When producing the original PS2 version of "SIREN," Leng Shui followed the requirements of the SCE sound director, avoiding musical tones and prominent musical expressions, creating long-loop ambient music lasting over five minutes with little variation, and incorporating Japanese elements. Before the footage was ready to be seen, she imagined the scene based on photos and scripts provided by the team.
She and Gary Ashiya roughly divided the vocal material and other parts into roles, discussing progress at any time. From the very first meeting, human voices were regarded as an important element expressing the indigenous beliefs of Hanyu Snake Village; She also blended her voice into the score, placing it in unexpected situations, intending to cause unease.
New Translation's theme is a new edition
During the production of PS3's "SIREN: New Translation," she considered rewriting the theme; Because the story returns to Hanyu Snake Village, the theme itself is preserved, replaced by a new arrangement corresponding to the new translation. In addition to Yugura Mii's vocal version, a new instrumental version was also created this time.
She asked Wakana Ichihashi to play ondes Martenot, hoping to use this electronic instrument to express the distortion of time and space.
