Original artwork invitations and single-line low-cost projects
Yasuo recalls that Aokyun proposed a collaboration because he liked the original artwork by Buntake Moegihara; Lump of Sugar was unable to accept full-priced original art projects from foreign publishers for the first time due to internal work arrangements. Later, the project was clearly defined as a single-line, low-priced work with a predetermined direction and timeline, and only then did Lump of Sugar accept the collaboration.
Reserved feelings for the unchosen female lead
In April 2025, when Aokyun introduced the script for "First Love Masterup," she explained that the unchosen female lead also has her own feelings. He arranges scenes where their confessions are rejected or they fail to express their feelings, allowing them to remain independent characters in the other people's paths.
Continuing the relationship between family and work to continue the guests
In the same production notes, Aokyun introduced the guest arrangement for the original characters: using the protagonist's kinship to connect the inheritance plot, and then incorporating other guests into the game's development process through roles such as the trading company, screenwriter, and voice actor. He emphasized that these appearances must be arranged on the premise that they align with the story of this work.
