"Reclaiming the Lost" is a selective visual novel continuously developed by Passion Portal. Searching for the children of the past
Years ago, their relationship left behind facts the protagonist did not yet understand. The news of adoption prompted him to reinvestigate the past, and a girl helped him look for clues. The main quest runs parallel to new daily relationships, and the player's choices influence subsequent events.
The lives of the characters
After her husband's death, Grace moves into a new residence, and the protagonist helps her rearrange her life. Evelyn is married to the protagonist's friend Bob; Emily's workdays, Chloe's meeting, and Olivia's appearance were all featured in subsequent news updates. Character events merge into the same story as updates are made.
Disagreements and conditions
The route is not only determined by a single choice, but also depends on previous actions and relationship points. Chloe's Mystery and Romance paths have mutually exclusive events, so a single process cannot satisfy all content at once. Reviewing events and reading old saves are ways to bridge different differences.
0.13 built-in boot
In version 0.13 of June 2026, event guidance was added: after selecting the target event in Walkthrough, the system displays the chapter, points, and prerequisites, then uses Guide Me to provide hints in key options. Multiple goals can be chosen together, and conflicting goals will be marked in red. Guidance is provided with the game and is not a standalone paid DLC.
Updates and releases
The author released version 0.2 in February 2023, covering Windows/Linux, Mac, and Android versions; Steam entered Early Access in November 2024. 0.13 redesigned multiple interfaces, adding Movie Night and other character events. The release of the old version on various platforms and on Steam was at different times, but this game continues to advance with sequential updates.
