SMILE ENERGY's musical style and vocal direction

milktub originally planned to try a slower style for "SMILE ENERGY," but after choosing between them, they still focused on upbeat songs, with the number of songs not included roughly equivalent to ten officially included songs. This time, the tracks revolve around Bamboo's own desire to sing and easy singing.

bamboo hopes that "LoveSong" will convey emotions to both the performance and the audience, and also use the fast tempo to sing content that makes him feel shy.

Song by track plan and lyric writing collaboration

"Go a head" was commissioned because bamboo loved Hayato Ito's lyrics and revised it after receiving the manuscript. The original plan included rap, but after the audition, the rhythm was changed because it exceeded his singing ability.

"スキスキ Junk Noodles" shifted from graduation theme to instant noodles. When there are no external matching works, bamboo uses self-defined themes as the creative focus.

When commissioning yozuca* to write "I'm Here," bamboo expected to shift from passive to positive, but the entire piece was positive; yozuca* also realized after hearing the song that it was different from the ballads he had imagined.

For 'Rainbow,' bamboo first proposed the rainbow theme, and then Miyuki Hashimoto wrote the lyrics accordingly.

"SMILE ENERGY" originally had a different title, but the label Usukura felt it represented the album and changed the title. Bamboo wrote his wish to meet the live audience again into the song and placed this farewell song at the end of the album.

Early recordings and GreenGreen's musical style

In his early days, milktub produced "BODY HUCKER" and "Fu-kin Hi-kin Daily" using synthesizers, guitars, and programs, recording at home and in practice rooms.

Bamboo recalled the "GreenGreen" era and said he wanted to shift to rock, but was influenced by KEMURI and chose the skapok direction.
