Position in the series
FrontWing lists "Fruit," "Labyrinth," and "Paradise" as its core trilogy. The story still revolves around the private Mihama Academy and Yuji Kazami, along with several female students; "Fruit" lays out the daily life and personal stories of the academy, while "Labyrinth" fills in on Yuji's past and the mysteries left behind, laying the groundwork for the upcoming "Paradise."
Later days, we will talk about the past
According to the official port introduction, the game includes epilogues of the five female protagonists and also depicts Yuji's difficult growth experiences. Overall, it switches between serious plots and fast-paced comedy.
Features of the handheld version
The original is a Windows adventure game. PSP and PS Vita versions add new visuals drawn by Akio Watanabe and Fumio; The Vita version supports 960×544 high-resolution display, color adjustment, and touchscreen operation, with touch page flipping, fast forwarding, backwind, and chapter jumping. The PSP version provides a memory disk to speed up loading and can save screenshots.
Switch collection
The Nintendo Switch release on November 7, 2019, includes the PS Vita trilogy and spin-offs for Nintendo Switch. Among them, 'Labyrinth' contains epilogues of the five female protagonists, 'The Cocoon of Capris' depicting Yuji's past, and 29 short stories. The collection supports switching between Japanese and English editions, touchscreen operation, and single Joy-Con operation.

An independent epilogue
The epilogues of the five female leads each continue with their respective relationships with Yuji: Yumiko seeks things she can do for others, Amane faces guilt, Michiru plans a date, and Makinai and Yuji temporarily return to the country. Together with the main storyline recalling Yuji's experiences before entering school, they form the Maze arc.
Sister, Master, and Former Caregiver
Ichihime is Yuji's older sister, and in the public opening materials, she listed the Takizono Academy minibus accident as her death. CIRS worker Mazi rescues Yuji during a mission, adopts him, and becomes his mentor; Oslo knows Yuji's father and once raised him after his father's death. The current foster JB and these past figures together form the network of connections related to Yuji's origins.
The review begins with a report
"Capris's Cocoon" begins when Yuji tells JB about his past for a promotion exam, and Sachi and Makina learn about these experiences through the information he left behind. In the family review, his father Ryoji relies on Ichihime's painting income and long-term belittles and abuses Yuji; His mother, Satoko, once took Yuji away, and the family ultimately collapsed when Ryoji found them again. After the retrospective, Yuji receives an urgent assassination mission, targeting Oslo, who had trained him.
Companions in the army
Danny is Yuji's classmate and partner in Class 7 at the Marine Corps Training School; Millie is also a member of the class; after losing to Yuji in a shooting contest, she recognizes and likes him. The three later operated together in the Yabuinu Squad, while Millie switched to the air unit after Yuji returned to Japan.
The goal of the after-conversation with Xingcai
The original PC post-story depicts the wedding outside of the bomber incident, and Yuji hopes to turn her birthday back into a happy memory. Makina's epilogue centers on his assistant codename V-9029 and the qualification training required for work in Japan. Both works continue their respective original work paths.
The nature of the suspense at the end (original PC main plot · spoilers)
At the end of 'Caprisu's Cocoon,' the girl hears news about Yuji being listed as a terrorist organization. The report made the girls staying in Mihama worry about Yuji's situation.
Released on handheld consoles in 2014
Both PSP and PS Vita "Labyrinth" were released on October 30, 2014. The edition's specifications list 'World End' as the theme song, performed by Sayaka Sasaki, lyrics by Yuichi Kuwashima, and composed and arranged by Hitoshi Fujima.
