When writing the workplace scenes for "Drunken Lips Journey," Oguriaya drew on her own experience working in online and travel media, and also read travel magazines and online articles. In a pre-release interview, Oguriaya said that the related work description did not involve extensive dedicated interviews.
Rinno's personality and the evolution of her name
In the plot outline of "The Lost Lips Journey," Rinno emphasizes the fragility brought by Ω attributes; Oguriaya gradually made her more resilient in writing, and her name changed from Kurobe Runa and Kitagawa Rinno all the way to her sister Kuma Rinno.
Scenes and text are edited under artistic restrictions
When Oguriaya chose Kanazawa as another stage for "Drunken Lips Journey," she also considered the difficulty of creating costume variations, so they avoided locations with a warmth difference from the Tokyo metropolitan area. She originally wrote about Ω Chao's actions, but later deleted tens of thousands of words due to CG limitations and explanations affecting the pacing.
