Content and inclusion
A 12-track acoustic instrumental arrangement set produced by Naoya Shimokawa, five of which are related to WA2; Some of the material was already used in games or animation before the album's release in 2017.
Two remixes of the same song
Tracks 1 and 12 of the album, "Feeling Heart," use different microphone ratios: the first track emphasizes hall reverberation, while the last track emphasizes close, direct sound, serving as a comparison for both listening experiences.
History of vinyl release
On March 31, 2017, the label announced the release of FIJA-003/004 vinyl, with the release date listed as April 26. It is produced on two 33-rpm weight discs containing all 12 tracks, with serial numbers, and sold through AQUAPLUS ONLINE SHOP and diskunion. Each of the four sides consists of three tracks: "Kokoro wa Itsumo Anata no Sobani" is on A2, "The Magic of Time" is on B1, "POWDER SNOW" is on B2, "Sayonara no Koto" is on C3, and "closing" is on D2.
Division of instrumental recording and mixing tasks
"Thank You" from Pure3 uses cello and piano. Shimokawa explained that Hashimoto was responsible for creating the sound positions, while he himself adjusted the volume balance by operating the faders.
When recording "Kimi o Nosete" from "Pure3," the production team simultaneously captured close-up sounds from each instrument, ambient sounds from the conductor's position, and long-distance sounds from above the audience, then mixed these recordings from different positions to adjust the auditorium's resonance.
Instruments recorded separately
"Hitori" from "Pure3" was recorded separately: the double string quartet was completed in Beijing, while the Alpa harp was recorded in a studio in Japan.
