The engagement at Sunset Hill Park
Junichi, a second-year student at Private Amitye Academy, enjoys going to Yuhigaoka Park to watch the sunset. On the first day of the second semester, he caught Yuki arguing with his father about marriage. Yuki temporarily pulled him in to pretend to be her lover, hoping to use it to break off the engagement; After her father pressed her, Junichi kissed her first, only to be told that she was the fiancé arranged by her parents. They then agreed to live together until the end of the school year, and only cancel the engagement if there was still no affection.
Living together with childhood sweethearts
Junichi originally lived in an apartment with his sister Nagase Minato, but after Yuki joined, their lives were disrupted. Yuki comes from the Katagiri conglomerate, has a tough personality, is not good at expressing herself, and gradually becomes the center of the academy's atmosphere. Minato is usually calm and skilled at housework and sports. Junichi's childhood friend Tsukasa Kirigami serves as both a broadcasting committee member and a member of the news department, gathering campus news using cameras and notes.
Other girls in the academy
Nagomi Shiraishi is a first-year student who speaks politely but often makes sarcastic remarks; Student council president Mitsuki Shiina enjoys planning group activities; Mikoto Tachibana is good at observing her teammates and is also skilled at tennis. Karen Ayakoji comes from a wealthy family. She appears strong but is soft-hearted, and even gets along well with her romantic rival, Yuki. Karen is an original female protagonist added from the PS2 game "Parallel" for the console version, not a new addition on the PSP.
Segment and bystander perspective
The plot is divided into consecutive single episodes like a TV anime, with title screens and cutscenes. Choices determine subsequent development. At certain moments, you can also open Side Stories, revisiting the same stage from the perspectives of characters other than Junichi, understanding their actions and thoughts at the time; It supplements information about other characters, not just repeating the male lead's lines.
Console version performances and production
PSP official website list original artwork by Tsubasu Izumi, Suzuka, Nachuraron, and Manabu Aoi, with a script by Kenji Saito. The console versions of Yuki, Minato, and Tsukasa are voiced by Rie Kugimiya, Aya Hirano, and Marina Inoue, respectively; Karen is voiced by Emiri Kato.
