The steadiness and delicacy of Ziyuan Guiyuan
When playing Shion Katsura in 'Shinjuku Rashomon,' Atsushi Abe didn't let the character speak in a tense and irritable manner. He wanted to preserve Gui's sensitive side without making the character appear narrow-minded, so he used a calmer and steadier approach.
Avoid speaking frivolously when angry
Regarding the scene where Katsura gets angry, Abe thinks raising the pitch might make the character appear frivolous. Therefore, he focuses on expressing heavier anger, keeping his emotional changes weighty as Gui.
PSP added scenes with a feeling
When Atsushi Abe was recording for the PSP 'Natsuzora no Monologue Portable,' he especially remembered the scene where Kinose recalled his past with Aoi and faced Aoi after she had lost her memory. As the characters feel the impact of estrangement, he also notices that their usual side of life still emerges.
A monologue in the 2015 radio drama
During the recording of the 2015 'Summer Sky' radio drama, Atsushi Abe focused on portraying Kinose's monologue to Aoiroid, expressing his determination to move forward despite struggling to face himself.
The Switch version is included again
Back to recording Switch 'Another Memory,' Atsushi Abe felt a bit nervous due to the years apart. He once again felt Kinose's emphasis on Aoi through his performance, and saw honesty and wholeheartedness as the charm of his character.
