The Kamihara family's fate
Hideo Kanbara originally lived with his wife and children, but suddenly entered a desolate world. As the giant monster chases after it, a mysterious robot appears. His wife Narumi, son Daisuke, daughter Mai, and his father's identity are key characters and themes in the series.
Archive and Load
The second volume transforms saving and reading in-game into special abilities used by characters in real life. Heroes can try again, gradually tending to see failure as a process that can be reversed, and the weight of their decisions is thus affected.
Sakurako Yotetsu
Sakurako criticizes the hero for relying on repetition, demanding that he face the reality of his own life. Tetsu believes the hero is only temporarily lost and hasn't abandoned something important. Their differing attitudes turn the problems caused by retry skills into conflicts between the characters.
Serialized structure
The series is divided into five parts: Prologue, Vol.1, Vol.2, Vol.3, and FINAL, with the complete series concluding in 2017. After Volume 2, there is a third volume and the final arc, where the mysteries of family and the anomalous world continue to unfold.
Free merged version
The free version released on January 28, 2022, was divided into two software packages. The package labeled Vol.3 includes the prologue up to volume three, so it also includes volume two, with FINAL provided separately. The software uses AIRNovel, the author lists Windows and Mac, and warns that changes to Adobe AIR versions may affect compatibility.
