The track-by-track original sound credits Gary Ashiya as the composer for songs such as "Maigawa Embankment Construction Site," "Miyata Clinic," and "Infuruno."

According to Hitomi Reimizu's recollection, she co-composed the original PS2 version of 'SIREN' mostly handled the vocal parts, while Gary Ashiya handled the rest, and the two discussed and advanced the work at any time.
The connection between ambient sounds and the soundtrack
Director Yoko Asakura recalled in a March 18, 2016 interview that when Gary Ashiya was creating the sound for the film 'Dokumushi,' they first discussed the room's ambient sounds to create the persistent airborne sounds. He prepared several sustained notes and suggested that these sounds gradually blend with the score to form the piece.
