The position of short stories
"Narcissus 2" begins with Setsumi's experiences and unfolds Himeko's story, with the final chapter shifting the focus to Himeko's final moments. It relies on the relationships established in the previous part, mainly to fill in the lingering moments of their interactions, and should be read after "Narcissus 2."
Himeko and Youhua
In this supplementary account, the already weakened Himeko still goes to see Yuuka. She didn't just say goodbye or apologize to explain her intentions, but continued to care about how her friend was treated at work. Their brief meeting preserved their daily attachments beyond death, continuing their differing attitudes when facing adversity.
Includes history
The 2009 gameplay record of "Narcissus 3" already mentioned the final chapter of Himeko, so the date of a subsequent port cannot be considered the first appearance of this story. The later tenth anniversary anthology included it alongside "Narcissus 1" and "Narcissus 2"; The purchase and inclusion scope for additional titles such as "Zero," "Iris," and "Sumire" are listed separately.
