Summer with childhood sweethearts
The opening takes place on a hot summer day. The narrator runs around at noon because of Arisu's situation: the two live in the same apartment building and have been in the same class from kindergarten through middle school. The familiarity and bonds brought by long-term cohabitation form the interpersonal foundation before the story enters fantasy.
Fairy tale imagery
The work revolves around questions such as whether to miss the past, whether to regret, and whether to return to that country. The flower's fairy and Alice-like strange encounter juxtapose the real-life childhood friendship. The fairy tale elements here serve the characters' experiences; the work does not directly adapt the entire original fairy tale into an e-book.
Reading with images
Experience records from the same period recorded that the work used Jirijiri/KAG, combined with real-life footage and character illustrations, including options and various unsuccessful outcomes. Reading a main route takes about two hours, but the full collection has branching differences, so this estimate cannot be used as the total duration for all content.
Disclosure and maintenance
The first public release date of the work records is July 31, 2008; The developer's website archives confirm that the 1.01 diff patch was released on November 11, 2008. The site mainly focuses on the production and publication of visual audiobooks. This work is an independent free work and has no direct adaptation of the manga or TV series of the same name.
European Pacific and absent Alice
Outai and Arisu live in the same apartment; they are childhood friends and middle school classmates of the same age. Arisu, who loves fairy tales, suddenly stops attending school, so Otai goes to visit; Nostalgia for the past and the land of fantasy runs through the opening of the work.
Audio materials and reading
The work progresses through text, images, and sound, with some plot points diverging depending on the choices. The production tool is Jirijiri. The official website thanks Pianos DauGe and SILDRA COMPANY for their BGM, as well as four sound source materials.
Free version and supplementary materials
Version 1.01 is distributed for free as a 67.0MB downloadable file, with a patch fixing the transition of the selection screen in Chapter 2. The official website separately lists a strategy guide, MUSICBOX, and the four-panel theater after clearing the game. The archived announcement also states that this old work is no longer supported.
