The second installment centers on him as the protagonist, telling his story of entering Longrun University despite his father's opposition and joining a research project.

On the Mingmei Line, she promotes relativity visualization research with senior students; on the Xingyao Line, she contacts children at the Observatory while hospitalized, sending blessings over the radio. Both storylines face near-death crises, and the death ending is not used to connect with the previous film.
