An unusual New Year's gift
Masco gives the owner a virtual currency gift. What was expected to be an ordinary amount turns out to be a balance far beyond expectations. The two of them checked the details of the money while celebrating the New Year lively. What seems like a joke at the beginning later connects to the earlier encounters, becoming a question running through the story.
The secretary on the phone
In the future society set in the work, the high-performance portable device Smart Tools uses a personal AI assistant called PASS. Mass co-hosts can talk, assist Yotsuba with her college entrance interviews, and earn virtual currency through online labor. She plays the role of a close companion in human life, but does not possess the exact same mindset and communication methods as humans.
Back to the first launch
The story goes back to when PASS was first offered to general users. Yotsuba wins a mascot by lottery and learns how to live with this girl-like program. Hime-senpai, who holds different views on AI, and her PASS Yoshinaga also get involved, gradually highlighting the difference between "understanding another person" and "understanding artificial intelligence."

This work shares the same worldview as 'Year 2236 AD', using a linear reading style centered on dialogue. The original Windows titles were later ported to mobile phones; The phone screen echoes the portable device in the story. The author positions it as a lighthearted sci-fi short story centered around Massco, with the theme song "Juliet" written by Prhyzmica.
